22 with 3 kids. Not many girls my age say that. Instead of partying and being out all night I'm up with my 7 month old soothing her to sleep. I've given up my short party dresses, 4 inch heels and accessories galore for my "mom" shorts and a pony tail. I can no longer just "run to the store" it's more of a "journey to the center of the earth" if I'm alone. No longer can I take hours to

Letters to me: 34 years in and becoming my own guardian angel
Dear Sally
You are just 18 years old and you are just about to find out you are pregnant.
When you find out you will feel pleased, though you won’t admit it. It will make you feel grown up and you like that. You will also feel scared, and you won’t admit that either. There is no room in your world for vulnerability - even though you feel it inside.

I am a strong woman and a typical Gemini who loves life to be full of spontaneity, adventure and change. When I finished University I spent 4 years backpacking around the world hopping from one country to the next with no real schedule or timeline. 2 months in Thailand, 3 months in Greece, 1 month in Turkey, 8 months in Germany – a lot of time in London. Those years broadened my horizons and molded me into the person I am today. My love for travelling has never waivered, although it has slowed down over the past decade after becoming a wife and then a mother to 4 beautiful little people.
Doctors word about motherhood and social life (Guest blog)
Question: Can you be a better parent by actually insisting to keep up a social life outside...to honor your former life and not just play the role as mother?
Morten, a Dad in Copenhagen, Denmark (founder of MomRocks.me)
Doctors answer:
So, Morten, I think I understand what you are getting at. Many women feel that adding “Mom” to their identity should change their personality in a fundamental way.
On Raising Children - guest blog by Lisa Marie

The biggest fear I had about having children (prior to ever having them) was the suffocating pressure of raising honest, God fearing, law abiding, beautiful adults.
Honestly, I used to lie awake at night with worry - considering all the different ways you can choose to raise children. Which way is right? Who knows what's wrong? Christian? Non-denominational? Let them choose? Vegan? Organic? McDonald's every morning? Each tiny thing and every large thing scared the holy hell out of me.
